Kitchen Conversions’ Free Printable
Who doesn’t love something free? When it is especially handy and useful it’s a bonus right? And if it’s a printable added bonus!
How many times have I set out to create a masterpiece in my kitchen only to find that I need to do some sort of kitchen conversion in my recipe? Usually when the need arises I can’t find what I am looking for and definitely never in one spot. Sound familiar perhaps? Do I hear giggles or sighs of frustration?
Are you working with an old recipe or one of out a cookbook which uses different measures? Take the guess work out of whatever you’re creating and avoid some costly mistakes by correctly converting ingredients.
For the longest time I ended up diving into multiple cookbooks or resorting to our trusted source of all information, Google. But who wants to get their tablet, laptop or phone full of flour, sugar or other sticky ingredients?
So I decided to delve into my cookbook collection and magazine cut-outs one last time and create this go-to printable. I have combined all the conversions you might need into 2 easy to use pages. Simply print them out, slip them into your favourite cookbook or recipe file, laminate them (definitely a good idea) or stick them inside a kitchen cupboard – whatever works for you.
Included are conversions for:
- Cake tin sizes;
- Common Metric conversions (Imperial to Metric);
- Detailed Imperial to Metric conversions for length, weight and capacity;
- Microwave wattage and power;
- Oven Temperatures (Celsius, Fahrenheit and Gas Marks); and
- How to halve a recipe.
So enjoy your cooking or baking with this free printable full of kitchen conversions because it is especially for you from my kitchen to yours.
PS: If there are any conversions I have missed out please drop me a line in the comments section and I will see what I can do to include them. And if you’d like some other free printables have a look under Printables on my blog page where I post all my free printables
